IMAP Setup Instructions for Exchange 2007
Due to the number of different IMAP email clients, generic IMAP configuration instructions are listed below for your convenience.
Server Configuration
- Incoming mail server: exchange.cites.uiuc.edu
- Outgoing mail server: exchange.cites.uiuc.edu
- Email address: NetID@uiuc.edu
- Username: uiuc\NetID
- Password: Active Directory password
- Outgoing mail server: requires authentication
- Security:SSL or TLS is required
